2, 4, 6, 8, What do you appreciate!
A few weeks back when we were studying the "W" in WORDS, pastor Roger challenged us to think about our worship service and to offer up what we appreciate about SNL. What appeals to you about what we do at SNL? What draws you in? What keeps you here? What speaks to your heart language?
He also challenged us to offer suggestions as to what we can do to improve upon our services. This is a chance in which we can try new ideas and hear your feedback. What would you like to see new at SNL? Think outside of the box. What can we do to make SNL a better place for all of our attenders and visitors? We want SNL to be a relevant place and a safe place that meets the needs of all in attendance. Now it is your turn...

what i appreciate most about saturday nights is that though we have a totally different atmosphere, music, style, everything is different from main service on sundays, we still get the SAME message that the rest of the church is getting. and its not geared specifically for my age, its for everyone so i can really find things that apply to me now and maybe even later when i get older.
i still wish we could have like some kind of prayer grouping during the message or right after like we did in main service a few times. its so awesome to be surrounded by an entire congregation and eveyone is talking to the smae God. like pastor ed was talking about this past saturday how our church seems to be sort of not excited about prayer. i think that would be an awesome thing to add
i totally agree with cici. its the same message as the sunday services but the music and atmosphere are really relaxed and you can totally be yourself. i love the music to, maybe because i play in it, but i just love the different style of it. I love how its at night also because im awake and able to comprehend what is being spoken because i am not a morning person.
Thanks Cici for your comments on prayer. We will continue to integrate more of a prayer time into our service. Any other ideas? Welcome Laurie!
